My Walmart (Maplewood Commons) had the Kraft dressing priced at $2.00. In general I noticed that they never have things priced as low as people online say, especially on food. Do you think this is because it isn't a Super Walmart with a grocery store?

I have tons of the Kraft coupon, mainly because the Suburban Journal (the free county newspaper) always has a Smart Source. Most people don't even open these, so I have all my neighbors give me these. Also, sometimes they include two identical coupons books in each paper! Do all the free papers have the coupons?

Each store could be priced slightly differently. My Walmart isn't a Super Walmart either so I'm not sure that would be the reason for the higher price. It could be your location in general. Not really sure. Try a different Walmart and see how the prices compare. I have found that the Walmart in Lake St. Louis and the one in Bridgeton have better prices than the one in St. Charles. I think location has a lot to do with it.

I get the journal occasionally in my yard and it is hit or miss if it has the coupons in it. We only get the Journal once ever couple months though because we don't pay for it. They stopped giving it for FREE where we are. My mom, however, gets it every week and most of the time it contains the coupons as yours does.

That is a blessing that your neighbors give you their papers! I have some co-workers that do the same for me.

Thanks for the answer Riannon. Next time I'm near another Walmart I'll have to compare prices.

Last week I was walking with my son, and I noticed that LOTS of people just leave their Suburban Journal paper at the curb. I also score some that way, although I would never take one unless I was sure the person didn't want it - i.e. it has been sitting there for over a week, they've driven over it a few times, it's in the road, etc. I guess this is my own form of "dumpster diving" for coupons.
