I am new to this whole thing (been couponing for a couple of months). Will you explain why you had to do this trip in separate transactions? Thanks!

Sure. Each set of 3 of the Reach/Listerine (Johnson & Johnson) were the same register reward deal. You are only allowed one of the same deal per transaction. So since I wanted to do 3 of the deals, I had to buy them in 3 different transactions. The other 2 transactions that were not with the Reach items were to use up other register rewards that I had received before, that were Johnson & Johnson register rewards from the Huggies diaper deal the week before. You can't pay for a register reward from one company with register rewards for the same company or you won't receive them. If I have register rewards from Kimberly-Clark, I can use those to pay for a Johnson's deal and still get the Johnson's register rewards. Does this make sense? I know it sounds confusing but will all make sense in time. The safest thing is to not pay with register rewards for items that will produce register rewards. Then you never have to worry!

That makes sense. Thanks for taking time to explain it for me!
